Since high school, I have always been passionate about acquiring the skills to provide quality healthcare services. When I learnt about the programs Heimerer offered, I immediately knew I wanted to be part of it. And I was not disappointed! At Heimerer I found an exceptional faculty and staff, excellent facilities, and a learning environment where I could grow into a competent health professional Technician of Lab. One cannot go wrong choosing Heimerer College!

The college has enabled me to find a professional profile that suits me and continuously quenches my thirst for quality education and professional development through classes taught by well-known lecturers and internships at high-profile healthcare institutions. In addition to studies, I have been engaged with various extracurricular activities because Heimerer College has a lively atmosphere that leads to an active social life filled with activities and entertainment.

Heimerer College and its reputation as a leader in health education has given me an advantage in today’s job market. The unique approach to education with a focus on experiential learning was one of the main reasons why I chose Heimerer College. The managerial position I have today as the coordinator of the American Hospital is a product of Heimerer staff’s hard work to secure an internship for me. The academic preparation, coupled with the internship opportunity, gave me the adequate managerial tools that I can utilize today as the coordinator.

As soon as I registered at Heimerer I knew I made the right choice. I cannot imagine my life as a student without the support and guidance I have received from staff and faculty. My time here has made me feel confident about my skills and knowledge. I feel prepared to be part of any work environment since most of my classes took place in laboratories and interactive environment where I was learning by doing. The Occupational Therapy program opens new doors and creates opportunities that I didn’t think I could be part of. The educational experience at Heimerer has not only urged me to think about my career but also about my duties as a responsible member of my community. I am so happy I have found a supportive academic community where I have converted into a passionate learner.
